Keeping the Crayons on the Page

It appears someone needs a subscription to Page of Art History!

On April 8, 2023, a 230-year-old Sabrina statue at Croome, Worcester was defaced with bright blue crayon markings, reports the BBC. 

We get the allure--a water nymph that was once decorated in shells, coral and gems is now a plain white stone statute...seemingly a blank canvas...
